The Reynolds American Organization approached The Tiroran Group to tell a story as they recognize the 150th anniversary of the founding of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Not just through the lens of corporate milestones, but through the stories of the people and communities it touched.

This project has included extensive interviews with employees, tobacco farmers, and community leaders across generations. Paired with deep historical research, the book reflects the complex and evolving role the company has played in the region’s economy, identity, and culture.
